Obi Sheath in Japanese Francie Fabric

Sylvia has been busily sewing wonderful things for her customers who love things all Japanese. She has been buying souvenir dolls from Japan. The doll companies in Japan and Mattel used some of the same brocade fabrics for their clothing. This is one of them. This is the fabric that Mattel used to make Francie's very elusive brocade kimono. Sylvia has fashioned a wonderful obi sheath with a back snap a la Gay Parisienne out of the Francie fabric. There is a picture of the two outfits that Sylvia has made out of this fabric. This brocade on this particular sheath is just gorgeous. There is no fading to the deep reds and golds. Sylvia is including a matching envelope purse, a reproduction graduated pearl necklace,, reproduction white open toe shoes from Dressmaker Details, and short white gloves made from vintage tricot.
