Sweetheart and Roses - $90
Fabulous vintage cotton print dress of roses, hearts, rosebuds and sweet nostalgia! 1960's fabric. Straw tote w/ flowers (colors may vary), hat with pink ribbon. Decorative stitching at hem, sleeves and neckline, short white gloves. (Shoes are not included.) A recent Japanese archive find. Please note that the picture on the left of the blond Barbie is of the vintage dress that belongs to a fellow Barbie collector. He has not authenticated the dress in print, but it could be a vintage dress for the Japanese market. Sylvia was lucky enough to find the exact vintage material at a thrift shop. LISA IN TOKYO --$105 Here is the latest reproduction of Barbie's Japanese exclusive black velveteen suit. The vintage trim is identical to the one Mattel used. There are only 7 of these since the vintage trim is so limited. The jacket is single breasted with vintage ruffle edged white trim, a straight skirt, white satin top ala Theatre Date, black felt hat with white satin ribbon with pearls on the ribbon on the back crown (not visible in picture), and short white gloves. The variation hat with the same trim as the jacket is in picture three. Please specify which hat you want when ordering. This is just fabulous! On Backorder. The only hat now available is the one on the far left. Sylvia just sold the last hat like the one to the far right.
