California Dreamin'
Sylvia calls her newest Japanese reproduction "California Dreamin' ". It can be seen on page 74 of Barbie in Japan and page 64 as a Dressed Box Doll in the new Japan Barbie book. You will receive the dress, Peace purse, hat, vintage tricot gloves, and white reproduction spikes. Sylvia would like to thank her friend Igeana, who so generously allowed her to make a pattern from the original dress. The dress is light blue taffeta covered with soft lace of the exact shade of blue, which matches Barbie's eyes perfectly. The dress is accented with purple sequins. The sleeves and hem of the dress are unfinished, just like the original. Everything is hand sewn by Sylvia, including all the sequins. Sylvia added gloves and the cute little purse so that Barbie would have everything she needs for a night out. Without the purse the price is $95.00. Thanks!
